Water from the High Performance Nutritionals, Inc. Bottling
Division,
HPN is generating economic sparks for high school students
in Dana
Point, CA
Students from
Dana
Point
High School are running a successful fundraiser thanks to the
help from HPN.
HPN, is a SB19 school compliant bottling company that produces
private labeled bottled water with the “Help Me, Help You, Help
them™” program.
HPN realized the need for significant fundraisers in our schools
and made it possible by providing purified drinking water with
the schools own branded logo.
With Coke having to take the “sugary” high calorie beverages out
of our schools and replace it with a more nutritional and less
calorie beverages, Denise Donovan/CEO of HPN, saw an opportunity
to provide our children with something that they already drink
and help them to make extra funds to support their
extra-curricular activities.
These bottles do not take the place of the beverages that reside
in the vending machines but are sold at the games and activities
throughout the school year.
It’s like having a “liquid business card”, says Denise. “The
children not only promote their school values but other
businesses have an opportunity to place a “door hanger” type
advertisement on the bottle, thus contributing to the cause by
added revenues.”
It doesn’t stop there. HPN donates 10% of the gross profit from
each bottle purchased, back to a charity of the schools choice.
It’s her “Help Me, Help You, Help them™”, program.
Denise has mentored many individuals into opening their own
business and doing what they have always dreamed of including
her own son. At the age of 17, Daniel, a graduate from Aliso
Viejo High School, opened his own business in Irvine, CA, called
Rezonate Creationz, an in car entertainment company which
customizes stereo surround sound systems for specialty car shows
along with regular customers. He has been seen in SEMA and CES
in Las Vegas for the past few years. Dan’s company and
reputation grew in spite of going to high school at the same
time.
Her motto is anyone can do anything if they only believe that it
can happen. You have to believe in yourself and your dreams. She
set out 11 years ago to “make a difference”, and is doing just
that. The students hold a bottle in their hands with their own
label with pride and they make a conscience decision to drink
something that is healthy for them. It is encouraging.
“It is a refreshing change from purchasing candy and wrapping
paper that is not only over priced but has no added value to the
schools, it promotes other peoples businesses and does not
reward the schools with much value”, says Denise.
Our days are filled with excitement as each school takes on this
wonderful project. It teaches the endless possibilities of an
active co-curricular program that contributes greatly to the
development of leadership, self-worth, and ultimately enriches
high school life.
